Biography
Amy McGovern, FNP-C, is a registered oncology nurse with over 30 years of experience in outpatient medical oncology. Before joining SCRI Oncology Partners, she served as a Palliative Care and Oncology Nurse Practitioner with Alive Palliative Care and previously worked as an Oncology NP at Community Hospital on the Monterey Peninsula. Amy’s expertise spans clinical education and quality improvement in cancer care, palliative care, and cancer survivorship.
Personal
Outside of the office, Amy enjoys spending time with her family—she has two grown children, and is expecting her first grandchild. She also has a boxer named Scooby. She enjoys golfing, trying new restaurants, and shopping at local farmers’ markets. She loves to spend time at the beach, walking along the shore, collecting shells, and listening to the sound of the waves.
